Massage Therapy is a practice that has been around for centuries, but has recently entered into the mainstream world of Healthcare as a form of Holistic Healing. The purpose of Massage Therapy is to enhance the function of the body and promote relaxation. Our R.M.Ts (Registered Massage Therapists) use a vast variety of techniques, in addition to classic Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage, including Active Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Functional Stretching. Stressed or Injured areas such as Muscles, Tendons, Ligaments, Joints, and Lymphatic Vessels are targeted to help restore function. Our Therapists work in close conjunction with Dr. Menzies helping better facilitate postural correction and enhancing overall treatment outcomes. Massage is an important aspect of keeping the body systems functional and healthy, from improving blood flow and lymphatic drainage to improving flexibility and mobility; our treatments are tailored to the clients’ needs. Massage is also effective in relieving a number of symptomatic states such as headaches, neck pain, insomnia, anxiety, and much more. All of our R.M.Ts are certified and meet all Alberta requirements for insurance billing.
